!!! PWK Decal Pre-Order !!!

All right, everyone. The first batch of the finalized decals is being printed and cut today and should be ready for me to send out next week. It's a small batch so I'm going to allow pre-orders if you want to get dibs and be one of the first to have it on your car. It looks like this:

It's simple, it's elegant, and it lets everyone know that you have your shit together when it comes to the bottom-end. The lettering outline is made of white vinyl and the black part is whatever you stick it onto; windshield glass, door, your mom, etc... The graphic is approximately 10" wide and 6" tall. Here's what the pricing looks like:

$15.50 for each decal plus a flat $4.50 per order fee to cover my packaging and shipping expenses. So, if you want to get four decals, that's four times $15.50 plus the $4.50 for shipping.

The ordering process:

The pre-orders are PayPal only. I'll accept checks and money orders later on but, this first batch wont last long enough for snail-mail. Here's how your PayPal payment should be set up:

To: pete@hexibase.com
Amount: (see the paragraph above in red)
For: Goods
Subject: # PWK Decals (i.e. "4 PWK Decals" or "1 PWK Decal")
Message: Your name and shipping address (has to be a U.S. Address)

All these fields have to be filled out just as shown above. If you do not have PayPal, you can have someone who does make the purchase for you. All that I look at on my end is the shipping name / address / quantity.

These decals look pretty bad-ass along the bottom of the two side windows toward the rear, especially if you have dark tint. You might also want one along the center of the rear windshield, so consider spares. Since shipping applies only once per order, it's cheaper to get a bunch then to order another set later on and pay shipping again.

Very nice, kind of off subject but any ideas on clothing apparel. Such as hoodies, shirts, etc... 8-)

Hats come next (or rather eventually). But, before I decide to invest any further into the manufacture and sale of PWK Designs merchandise, I need to get some feel for the market. Forum polls are one thing but when it actually comes to buying the merchandise that you voted to buy once it becomes available, it's a whole different ballgame; people become very indecisive. This is the main reason why I ordered a very small starting batch.

is the 6x10 going to be the only size... maybe around half of that, say a 3x5 or similar...?

The 10" x 6" is as small a decal as I'm offering for the time being. If these sell well, I may follow them up with other sizes and colors. Though if they are made any smaller than this, I will have to switch from a white outline to a white fill in order to maintain sufficient adhering area.

It's really not that big if you think about it. I've got one on either side of the CRX. It looks very tasteful.

I would be willing to pay in advance, and I am sure other people would be willing to also. That way you would have cash in hand. But I understand what you are saying in regards to getting a feel for the market. Also I am assuming buying in bulk would equal a better price all around

For whatever reason, nobody seems to want these. I haven't really sold any so I'm thinking of scrapping the idea by this coming up weekend. Now I'm really glad that I ordered as small a batch as I have.

I will take 2. They will go next to my DD stickers. One ? I know who you are and your website but if I put your sticker on my truck how would anyone know what it is. They would have to ask me I think you should put your web addy on it small.

Well it's mostly just brand recognition; a conversation piece. Kind of like you don't need Digital Design's URL beneath that backwards DareDevil logo

Granted, I'm not anywhere near as big as DD nor do I ever intend to be but the logo is mainly a mark of recognition for people in the know. I bet you anything that if two people with PWK Designs logos pull up next to each other, there are going to be some sort of dialogue and maybe even a handshake. Even if you didn't have a decal and saw a vehicle with one on, that would get your immediate attention, and nobody around you would understand
