Q: What’s the turn-around time for a set of blueprints?
A: This figure varies from one day to the next. Above all else, it depends on the number of designs that have been paid for ahead of yours. It also depends on whether your design is in the standard or the rush engineering cue.
Q: How do I go about purchasing a set of blueprints?
A: Read about how to order here.
Q: Do you also offer fully-assembled enclosures?
A: I do (take a look at the WorkBlog,) though I generally encourage clients to enlist the services of a local woodworker. PWK Designs builds are offered predominantly for the bragging rights.
Q: What kind of wood are your blueprints based on?
A: Unless specified otherwise, my blueprints are based on 0.75″ MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) for U.S. clients, and 18mm MDF for clients operating on the metric system. (I strongly discourage the use of particle board.)
Q: What form will I the blueprints arrive in?
A: The blueprints arrive as an attachment in an e-mail message that is sent to whatever address you provide in the Project Assessment Form (unless you specify a different address.) All the pages of the blueprints are stored in PNG (Portable Network Graphics) format. No special software is needed to open a PNG file under Windows, Linux, or MAC OS.

That’s kind of like asking, what’s the best number to add to another number if you want the answer to be 10? It all depends on the first number. The same applies to vehicles. Assuming that we limit our choice of enclosure types to just bass-reflex, your tuning still depends on an entire series of variables internal and external to the enclosure as well as the electro-mechanical properties of the woofer.

im doing a jeep cherokee ive chossen two different steroes one is two ma hardkore 15s on a opti 3000d or four audioque with two of there 1200 wattamps my question is in the suv wouldit be better to face the subs toward the roof or the hatch.And where would best to put the port if i went subs facing up

I can’t tell without modeling it to see how the pressures interact inside the cabin; this isn’t something that I decide based on some arbitrary rule of thumb.

I was told that my box is already designed, i have a case number, and all i need to do is pay for it… How do i go about doing this? Please send me an e-mail with some instructions.

If you haven’t paid for it yet, it’s not designed. The e-mail in which you received your case number should also have contained an invoice which explains all your payment options complete with instructions.

Alrighty, I didn’t get to see the e-mail. I believe it went to Matt at MST Audio. The box is for my truck though. Would it be possible to forward the e-mail to me so I can pay for it? The case number is 1357. It’s for an ext. cab S-10.

Pwk in at a lost for what to get im stuck on either a single 2510 or two 1508s i do want to hit rages from 30hz to 80hz and i am mostly concerned about sql and not spl once i figure out what would be a better buy then i can have you run a test to see what box i can put it in i just want to know which one would achieve this

Im looking for a 6th order box for a DD 1512.
Can this be done? The dealer here in norway is negative
to DD woofers in bandpass boxes.
But im not satisfied with they’re standard ported boxes.
I have seen the video on youtube(dd democar-bass in hd).
And the way ddaudiousa discribes the bassresponse,
sounds alot like what i want from my woofer.
Do you have any experience or way to simulate the cabinresponse in a
vw golf mk4 hatchback.
I tried to fill out the form but with no luck:-S

Hey Pete, I was wondering if you have tried out any of the Sundown audio products like the SA-8, SA-10,SA-12, or anything from Atomic or MMats pro audio? I am using two DD 1508 with a M80 and one of your horn enclosures. I know Super Steve is selling Hybrid audio and Sundown audio now any help would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU for your time.

I need a box made for 4 15″ sa subs I have a Chevy Tahoe with 49″w 28″ d 28h to work with its a 2005 Tahoe I plan on using the m4a or two sundown 2500 watt amps for this build I like a lot of rap and I want to be heard four blocks away I love deep low hittin bass that rumbles everything within its sound wave capabilities please reply to me and let me know how to order this box the form thing ain’t working I guess

Hey pete are you still designing and selling boxes? I sent you my information on the PAS. But you havent gotten back to me yet if your busy with other orders i understand but can you email me just to let me know if you still make the designs. Because as i go through this website most of the posts are form last year so im starting to think that you stopped making box designs.
